Story Time, Tot Time, and Baby Club will take a break for the month of August. They will return starting September 9th.
The Piedmont Library and Cultural Events Society (PLACES), in partnership with the Piedmont Public Library, is proud to sponsor the annual Founders Day Youth Art Show. This year’s theme, “Dream Big – Create Bold,” invites young artists ages 5–18 to showcase their creativity, imagination, and talent in a community celebration of art. The show will take place on Saturday, September 6, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church (corner of Piedmont Rd. and Jackson Rd.).
Youth interested in participating can download an entry form or pick one up at the library. Prizes will be awarded by age group, and all artwork must be submitted to the Piedmont Public Library between August 26 and September 3. Families, friends, and community members are encouraged to visit the Art Show during the 2025 Founders Day event to support the next generation of artists as they share their bold ideas and artistic visions in honor of Piedmont’s Founders Day.
