Did You Know? The Library’s Internet Just Got Faster!
Did you know the Piedmont Public Library offers free Wi-Fi and access to public computers? We’re excited to share that our internet connection just got an upgrade!
Thanks to a Category Two E-Rate grant, made possible through the Institute of Museum and Library Services and the Oklahoma Department of Libraries, the library has been able to update all of its internet hardware. These improvements mean faster speeds and more reliable connections, making it easier for you to study, work, stream, or simply browse.
We’re proud to continue providing the community with free, efficient internet access both inside the library and on our public computers. Stop by and experience the faster connection today!

Founder's Day Kid's Art Show-Saturday, September 6th
The annual Piedmont Founder's Day Art Contest is just around the corner! Sponsored by the Piedmont Library and Cultural Events Society (PLACES), this art contest is for children ages 5-18. It will be held inside the First Baptist Church of Piedmont during the Founder's Day event. Prizes will be awarded to winner's (1st-3rd place) in each age group. The entry form will be available soon. Stay tuned!

For August, we will be reading The Husbands by Holly Gramazio. Contact the library by July 7 if you would like us to order you a copy for $5.
Fun Drawing Class for Kids
Mr. Sprinkle (yes, that really is his name) teaches kids how to create silly and wacky characters with line drawing.
This class if for children in 1st - 6th grade.
Space is limited. Sign up is required.
