Can I make donations through PLACES?

PLACES is a 501(c)3 organization and exists because of donations from the community and Library patrons. All donations are tax deductible through FEIN #73-1600840.

Thank you for your support!

What does PLACES do?

PLACES coordinates annual fundraising events to provide continued support of the library. They help cover expenses of book purchases and library programming, such as preschool story times and summer reading, plus host cultural events and activities for the Piedmont community.

PLACES support the Library’s largest annual event, the Summer Reading program. Each summer, more than 400 children participate by earning rewards for each day of reading 20 minutes or more. Over 1,000 children and their parents attend free weekly activities featuring arts, crafts, traveling museums, and performers.
